Thor, also called Donar in High German, is the God of Thunder. In the region of Germania, he was also an Agricultural God of fertility, and of protection of acreage, plants and crops. Donar was very common and, as some studies show, possibly way more important to the philosophy of the pre christian germanic tribes, whose beliefs were animistic-pagan. There's many animals, called Fylgja, in Germanic spirituality that hold a significant meaning. That is due to the animistic worldview of ancient European spirituality: Everything had a soul. The Goat is, first and foremost, a phallic symbol and represents strength, procreation and fertility. As Thor protects acreage and the crops with his Mjölnir, the Goat is a symbol for the soil and the earth, making it fertile, rich in nutrients and life-giving to humans and nature as a whole.
This is not your usual Thors hammer / Mjolnir pendant! On the front is a Lapis Lazuli and below is a goat head bust along with two Thurisaz Runes. On the back is a Mjolnir with yet another Thurisaz Rune.
